Another Way to Support the Museum
We have agreed to enter into an affinity credit card
program with Capital One Bank. You can choose one of three credit
card designs that feature "Canon City Al", one of our most popular exhibits.

The affinity credit card program supports the Museum in
two ways. First, Capital One pays the Museum $50.00 when an
application for the credit card is approved. As the credit card is
used, 2 percent of charges for gasoline and groceries and 1 percent of
all other charges are also paid to the Museum. These
payments are made by Capital One Bank, not the card holder. So you
are supporting the Museum as you normally use the credit card.
Further the credit card features "Canon City Al". If you are
interested in further details of Capital One's program, click on the
link below. This is a secure link and you can complete the
application by following the link.

Help your Museum with this exciting program and we
thank Capital One Bank for offering this opportunity.
"Tracks in Time"
For the
first ten years of its life, the Garden Park Paleontology Society
proudly published a newsletter for the Dinosaur Depot
Museum called "Tracks in Time". Each issue contained current
information regarding happenings within the Museum itself. In addition there
were other articles of interest such as things we are doing with school children, stories regarding specific dinosaurs, upcoming events and much more.
Unfortunately, the cost of printing and mailing "Tracks in Time" caught
up with the Society and we were forced to discontinue it. Further,
the printing process that was used prevented the effective use of
photographs. Since photograph
s, especially color photographs, are
an effective communication tool, we are releasing important stories on
this website. In the future, we hope to begin publishing "Tracks
in Time" again, but in a format distributed on the Internet.
